God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
This was my first live performance since I acquired my new Kremona 90th Anniversary classical guitar. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and I am quite happy with it.
This arrangement of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” is my own. Written in the key of E Minor, it features free strokes, rest strokes, fast treble arpeggios with the melody in the Bass, natural harmonics, and slaps.
I did not take the time to write a score down, but if I ever do, I’ll make sure to add it to my store here on my website. In the meantime, you can check out my Christmas scores in the store and my Christmas recordings on most streaming platforms.
This live performance was part of the Christmas concert at my home church where I serve as Music Director. There are a few mistakes and sound is raw and unedited, but I am still happy with the performance.
