LegiLiner Unboxing
With all the new technology today, most composers and arrangers prefer to use music notation software such as Finale or MuseScore. I do too, and I use such programs regularly.
Still, there is something special about writing music by hand. I’ve been writing music by hand since my childhood, when there was no technology. I used to draw my own music staff on blank paper and then write the music on that. To use the words of Archie and Edith Bunker … “those were the days” :-)
I still write music by hand quite often. Mostly for fun and sometimes for more efficiency. Sometimes I’ll have to write a quick musical idea and won’t have the time to go to the computer, open the program, select the type of score I want, select the key, etc., then write the music, save, print, and all of that. Quite often, writing music by hand trumps using any music notation software.
Enter LegiLiner! This is a little device that will allow you to draw your own music staff on blank paper, quickly and efficiently. In this video I am unboxing a staff stamp from LegiLiner and after I learn how to use it, I am going to share more content about it.
In the meantime, you can take a look at this device on Amazon and purchase it for yourself. Know a musician that can use this? It’ll make a fun little gift for sure.
